Final Bill doesn't show Termination charge or date

Evening all

 

I left Sky Broadband due to poor service in November 2025 and joined another supplier.

Sky, rightly so, charged me the termination fee, which has been paid.

 

For the other suppplier to credit my account with the termination fee they need my final bill to show certain details -

Name of account holder

Charges for Early termination

Disconnection date of your previous supplier

 

However the Sky final bill doesn't detail that the payment I made is for the Early Termination, nor do they show a disconnection date.

 

I've spoken to Sky and had an online chat.  Both advise downloading the bill as PDF.  This still doesn't show the required details.

 

I see others in the community have had this problem.  How did you resolve it?

I believe it doesn't actually say early termination charge so what you see on both your final bill and the pdf version is the best you will get I'm afraid.

I believe it doesn't actually say early termination charge so what you see on both your final bill and the pdf version is the best you will get I'm afraid.

I just feel I am going round in circles.  Someone on another post said to look on EE community, which I'm now doing.

It's perhaps worth remembering that all the big ISPs who offer to cover such fees know exactly what each others billing looks like: this appears to be a rather silly game they play with each other

I am also a previous Sky Broadband customer. I switched to Vodaphone within my contracted period with Sky as V will pay the early termination fee (£76). The final bill from sky does state Early Termination Fee but doesn't have my name or address on it, just email. Vodaphone need a pdf final bill with name address& ETF on it. Spoke to Sky and they said go to past bills and download pdf...no option to do that. Don't know what to do next.

@NVJONES you can download and print a pdf copy of your current and previous bills via www.sky.com/bill

 

They do include your name and address.

 

This must be done via a desktop/laptop PC or from a mobile device in desktop mode.
