False information re cinema tickets

Hi, yesterday I upgraded our package which included (amongst other things) two free cinema tickets. I asked the lady if these tickets could only be used at Vue because we do not have Vue cinemas in Cornwall, our nearest in is in Plymouth which is over an hour away.  She said that we could use our tickets at any cinema on the UK. I clarified that it doesn't have to be a Vue and she said no, any cinema.  Today I tried to book at my local cinema and the vouchers wouldn't work.  Please can you advise? My cost of my package has now gone up to £94 a month and I cannot use these tickets.

@Karen82  You're not posting to Sky Customer service via the forum, we are all customers here, have you received the tickets/vouchers?   What does the email say they are for?   It will be within the T & C's but suspect they may be Vue cinema tickets as that is the VIP promo Sky have.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

It looks like you were given incorrect information as the free cinema tickets can only be used at Vue:

Simply not correct: the deal is with Vue.  Most chains and almost no independent could afford the loss.

 

As you were misled, Sky should accept any request to remove the Cinema add-on if you wish.
