False Information

I was contemplating leaving sky due to the never ending price increases. I was begged to stay and I was offered full fibre broadband at no extra cost. 2 months have gone by now I'm being charged £25 a month for this.

Has anyone else had the same terrible experience?

@SamG5

Other than the inevitable annual price increase in April, prices usually only increase when your discounts have ended.

I don't think that is relevant to your situation.  (The answer is of course that other customers have had incorrect billing)

You need to call Sky and ask for it to be corrected.  Raise a complaint if necessary.

That would typically be 'no extra cost' on top of the current Sky Broadband bill for ADSL/FTTC /G.fast, not broadband for free.

It's also only applicable to whatever remains of the current minimum contract term (which might well catch people out if they switch to FTTP close to the end of that period)
