Failed DPD Delivery

I've requested a replacement Sky Q box, as the hard disk on mine is failing and needs to be reset / erased every few days.

 

DPD were supposed to be delivering today, but are reporing that the exchange could not be made as the return was not ready, and are returning the parcel to Sky.  The problem is, DPD never came to my house to attempt the delivery!

 

I've spoken to DPD eventually, and they've insisted that their driver spoke to someone, but they can't provide a photo, and the details they've given (e.g. colour of the door) are completely wrong for my house.  Obviously checking the address on the parcel with the person who answered the door was too difficult for the DPD driver 😞

 

Anyway, DPD are now insisting they can't try to re-deliver, and that I need to contact Sky.  Sky's AI help chat goes round in circles and can't help me.  How do I get my replacement box re-sent, and get Sky to put a rocket under DPD to do their job properly?

 

My house is not exactly difficult to find, it's on the road (no long drive or anything), clearly numbered.

You will need to get in touch with Sky so  under “Need more help” at the bottom of this page might be the number to use:

Or via the phone 150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone.


Sky Assistant is also available 24 hours a day on sky.com/help with rapid responses.
