I contacted Sky to cancel my services, and the experience was absolutely appalling. After spending over 30 minutes messaging back and forth with a representative who kept trying to talk me out of leaving, I made it very clear that I still wanted to cancel. Rather than respecting my decision, the agent simply stopped responding and completely ignored me.
This kind of behaviour is not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful. I expected a basic level of courtesy and efficiency, but instead I was met with pressure tactics and then silence when they didn’t get the answer they wanted.
Disgusted by how I was treated – Sky clearly values keeping customers locked in more than treating them with any decency. I’ll be making sure others are aware of this before they consider signing up.
