Extra charges this month

I have an additional charge this month for £6.19 for sky broadband super fast 6 days.
I normally pay £32 a month and I'm in contact until middle of 2025.

Can anyone help me understand why?

Thanks

The bill is for 36 days (just over a month).

I presume you're a fairly new customer?  Charges are monthly in advance - so an element of in arrears and in advance.  I presume future bills are showing as expected?

The pro-rata 6 days is at same rate as the full month.

I’m not a new customer,  I've been in my contact for 9 months and it's an 18 month contract. Wonder why this month is any different? All future bills are back to £32

@HelloTed  Have you changed your payment date recently?

Aha!  That's the other reason billing can change.

A change of billing date doesn't simply change the date - it does a pro-rata recalculation and the timing can cause the next bill to go up or down...
