Equipment Returns

Hi Everyone

I eed help. I am 87 years old and have been a VIP sky subscriber for some time.  In January I contacted Sky to get a new deal on broadband - tv - Talk  - mobile etc.  They changed my broadband but I keep receiving messages on my mobile saying I have not returned equipment and now they have slapped a charge of £53 on my next bill.  What happened when the new equipment arrived was that I contacted Sky to ask them if an engineer would come to my house to set up all the equipment and this new modem.  The guy at sky said that I did not need to change anything and continue to use the current equipment which I have been doing. I asked him what I should do with the new modem and he said "hang on to it as a spare". It's still in it's original packaging in my garage. What do I do? Can anyone suggest?

That was bad advice given to you by Sky @BrianandV because it will need to be returned.

This link will help you to do this including getting Royal Mail to pck it up from you:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/return-tv-broadband

Send it back to us:
Take it to your local Post Office or parcel Post box; or
Arrange for Royal Mail to collect it. Royal Mail can also bring a label with them for collection.
Don’t forget to keep the receipt as proof of return, and to track the item online.
