Engineer/Activation issues

Having issues regarding engineer visit. They were booked in for yesterday (12/07) from 13:00-18:00 but they didn't turn up. No notification or calls to say they weren't turning up. I phoned sky customer service and they said the engineer wrote there was an issue but didn't specify. MySky app says that the engineer was cancelled and that my activation has changed but nothing has been solved. I'm rather angry as my partner works from home and needs internet and customer service weren't useful. Not sure what to do to be honest?

If the appointment was cancelled then you should be given a new one, so when you called did you ask Sky to book you a new date, if not then I would suggest calling Sky and asking for a new appointment to be made for you.

Sorry to hear about the delay of your broadband activation. If Openreach run into some issues during activation, they will let us know and a specialist team will get in touch with you as soon as we have more update.
