Email today advising massive price increase

So. I re-contracted my Sky TV subscription for another 24m at the end of Jan. Within a week or so I received an email saying it would go up in Apr by £1 (Sky Sports related). Fair enough.

But I've now just received a further email saying that my Sky Sigature will increase in April by over £7!!! Looking at my bill, Sky Sig base cost is around £33, and I get it discounted by £15 to around £18. Appreciate the base price is used for the annual % increase BUT over £7 increase on a £33 base price??????   Does this seem/look right or  is there likely to be somme error here? Not happy.

Afaik signature is going up £4pm - but there have been reports on here of other amounts.

I would challenge it.

The base price of Sky Signature is going up from £36.50 to £40.50

What has become apparent on here is that some customers base price has previously been showing as less than £36.50 thereby making the increase appear bigger.
