Early termination charges - no final bill

Hello,

 

Cancelled my Sky BB and moved to another provider, was on Superfast Fibre 35, which was due to expire April 2025. Paying £27 a month. I cancelled this month and my new BB went live on 11th. All equipment has been sent back.

 

I got an email before stated final estimated bill will be £86 which included early termination charge, however, I have just been charge £27 my usual bill plus been credit £19 and I am baffled and confused. I needed this final bill as new BB was paying any cancellation charges.

 

I am confused to how this has been calculated, I did ring but tbh they guy I spoke to was in in India and didn't have a clue, just said "don't worry you won't be charged anything else". and if I did they will just refund it, he has also credited my account with £19 credit I had in my account. 😀

 

The last thing I want is a final bill coming in 6 months time as I need to send this to to provider within 3 months so they can cover moving costs. If the bill is correct and there aren't any other fees then perfecto, but I'll take that in writing please.

 

Anyone from Sky CC based in UK can confirm this on my account please?

Have you checked on what will have been next months bill to see if any early termination charge has been added to it ?

We're a customer Community, I'm afraid. It sounds like your Sky broadband service wasn't cancelled. Have you received any form of communication indicating that it was, or acknowledging your switch to another provider?

Next month's bill shows £0. Yes received email from sky saying service they have received a provider switch notification. Equipment has been sent back and I can track this via my accountm

It's possible that they haven't been added yet. Next month's forecast bill will become an actual bill two weeks before your previous payment date. If they haven't been added by then, the termination charge may have been overlooked or waived.

I see, we'll need full confirmation if it's been waived as I'll need to send to new provider. Guess another call unless there is UK based staff on forum which can assist
