Downgrade fees ??
I was on virtual assistant for approx 150 minutes yesterday. A renewal deal hadn't been carried out. A new bill was negotiated.
No mention of any fees were discussed. I then received email informing me of a £60 downgrade fee?????
Has anyone else had this surprise

@NicolaG you need to speak to a Sky agent but as a rule if you downgrade a service during the 24 month fixed contract period you can be charged a penalty fee for changing the contract. This is not specific to Sky as it is simple contract law.

Hi the same happened to me I rang sky to cancel my sky sports and ynt sports before price hike in april and got told i would get charged 60.00 to remove anything so I said cancel my tv it was supposed to go off 8 march then I went on chat like u and advisor said I can remove sky sports cinema free no premium downgrade fee don't cancel etc so I changed my mind and then I said if I want to remove tnt will it be free to no charge he said ue no 60.00 charge so I was all buzzing then I goes on my sky and we had been charged 60.00 for removing sky sports cinema so I rang up complaints and told them I want money back I got told I will get it back im still waiting we paid our march bill it was 175 I was fuming I have rang them 6 times and just got passwd from pillow to post o know exactly what you.mean I told them if nobody gets back to.me in the next 6 days I am canceling my tv package without charges as its an error on their part not mine their advisors need to go back to training and get taught the proper job and rules good luck 😢
