Hello Sky team! I hope You’re having a lovely morning so far. I’m just having a shock problem since my sky bill came out this morning at 1.11am - I wasn’t expecting it as it says online nothing due as I’m in credit because of my few attempts to pay the last two months. And double money logged into the account by accident. I was keeping my last £100 in my bank after my house rental payment came out yesterday too. I needed this last bit of money for dog food and to get our monthly food shopping for myself and my kids. The prices are getting higher too I see which is worrying me even more. When I first received Sky to my house I wanted to watch Friends Reunion once for the first time now getting charged an extra add on a month I don’t necessarily need. Please let me know for future reference can I cancel my entire Sky contract at any time? Or if I cancel Sky will I get directly refunded my money in credit to you guys? I don’t own a credit card so could really do with the money in credit back at some stage this week or month. Thank you very much for any help on advance!!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYour post is a bit difficult to follow, but did you make a manual payment? If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. A credit will now appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid. This will automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account.
I would suggest not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky as automated payments may not be prevented.

You need to contact Sky to reduce any part of your Sky TV package or cancel it completely giving the required notice of 31 days. Remember, the latest T’s and C’s for TV subscriptions explicitly state you can only cancel within a minimum discounted term if Sky agree to it. If they do allow it you’ll end up paying off the rest of the discounted term.
Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to a phone number.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link should include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by ringing or writing in.
If you cancel correctly you should receive a confirmation email from Sky.
If you’re cancelling Sky Q totally don’t forget it’s very important that you keep you proof of posting indefinitely when you return the box(es) as Unipart are not quick at telling Sky you have sent equipment back. Return packaging will be sent out towards the end of your notice period.
