Have you made an unnecessary manual payment? If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. A credit will appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid. This should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would recommend not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

However, if you prefer, once your extra payment is showing as a credit we can perhaps get you some help in getting it refunded (within the standard 3-5 working days) through the Messaging Team. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that having confirmed it’s showing as a credit.

Re: Double payment issue

I spoke to a sky employee today regarding the overpayment of my sky subscription and was informed that they would refund me the funds I'd overpaid. They said I would receive it back within 72 hours. What worries me slightly is that there is no confirmation email, or message in my sky account regarding this, so do not know if the refund has been implemented at all

I'm not aware that you'd receive such a notification. You'll need to keep an eye on your bank account and Sky account.

I'm not sure it works like that so as asked above by @Daniel0210 do you see a credit on your account ?
