Disneyplus monthly fee taken

I've paid for DisneyPlus for a while and was told that I didnt need to do anything when it became part of Sky subscription. Today Disney have taken the monthly fee. Its easier to get a call with Putin than it is contacting them. Any ideas anyone?

I presume you previously had your Disney plus account direct with Disney. Therefore . you needed  to activate and link your Disney account to Sky using the same login  as you used for Disney either though the app on your Sky box or the my Sky app. You say Disney have taken you monthly fee, however if you have  linked.your Disney  account though Sky  and you just had the basic with ads it included in your Sky package and if you had a higher tier the money should be taken Sky marketplace now  with a debit/ credit card, the details you would have asked for when activating your Disney though Sky. If you look at your account  on Disney plus web site is should say "manage on Sky"

Hi @Wanna13   Just to be clear, you didn't need to do anything if you paid Sky for your Disney+ subscription. So do/did you pay Sky or Disney+ direct for your subscription?

If you paid Sky for a Disney + subscription previously, you don't need to do anything. If you paid Disney + directly then you need to link your Sky TV and Disney + accounts together to get the "free" version as bundled with a Sky TV package. If you don't do this neither Sky nor Disney would know about the other account. The key thing is to make sure you link your existing Disney + account to Sky and not create a new Disney + account.

Instructions on how to link your Disney and Sky accounts can be found here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/existing-disneyplus-customers-third-party
