Direct Debit issue
I want to set up a new DirectDebit with a new bank and pay my current bill that is now over drawn but the system isn't letting me

@Frustratednanny You need to pay what you owe before reinstating a Direct Debit at which point you can use the new details.

I would and tried but they wont accept my bank's debit card which is where I want to set the Direct Debit up on and my only form of payment

What on screen message do you get when you try and put in you card details?

From reading his post I thought he was trying to to use his card to pay the outstanding payment before setting up the direct deposit debit in that case he will have to put in the long card number in
