DD Payments Taken Wrongly

I cancelled my SKY TV and Broadband in November 2023. To my horror today I noticed that direct debit payments have continued to be taken from my bank account since my contract with SKY ended. The total taken is over £1000. How do I get this money back ? I called customer services but was just left hanging on the phone or perhaps they cut me off. I want my money back ?

How did you cancel?

Did you receive an email from Sky acknowledging the cancellation?

Sky might query why it's taken you nearly 2 years to notice this.

Hi @LAS25   As long as you can prove that you cancelled properly, the Direct Debit Guarantee is your friend.
