Credit refund
I have received an email from Sky saying that my account is in credit and they want to send a cheque! I have tried to contact them on the number provided, when asked for my account number, the sugomated system doesn't give enough time and after 2 attempts it just cuts you off. My address is different and I'd rather they pay it into my bank rather than a cheque. The Bot, cannot handle the questions! Help!

You will need to call Sky as your address will need updating so the cheque can be sent to you and the reason for this is usually because the payment method has been removed from the account. A number of these emails and letters are being sent out each week so you will not be the only person trying to get through to them on the phone, see what happens if you say nothing when asked a question by tye bot and remain on the line.

On the number they supply, if you don't do anything, after it asks for the info for the 2nd time, it just cuts you off.

The only thing we might be able to do for you @kazbar62 is if you are happy to restore your payment method the messaging team from Sky will be arrange a refund for you via this so would you be able to do this ?

To see if they can help you with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.
