Credit refund after cancellation

I would like to get a refund for the credit on my account after cancelling Broadband and Sky TV

Contact Sky and they'll arrange it for you. Providing you haven't cancelled your direct debit it should take around 5 days.

So far been unable to speak to anyone from Sky. The online chat service always says unavailable and I dont feel like I can face being on hold for another hour without response. So was hoping something could be done through here (have seen others passed onto  messaging team).
