Credit Refund

My account with Sky ended on the 11th of August (2025) . My final bill showed I am in credit by £56.88 & I would like this sum refunding to my bank account. On googling this I was led to believe it would be automatically refunded in around 6 weeks after the last day of my account ending. As I have not received it I would like to know what I need to do as live chat with Sky is currently unavailable.

We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team (that's different to the chat you mentioned) but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and we don't know when it'll return.

 

At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. Providing your payment method is still active they should be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.

  • Thank you for your reply. That's very helpful, I will try get hold of them on the phone. My payment method is still active so hopefully it will get sorted out.

When you do call them don't let them tell you that you have to wait another month or so as they should be able to issue the refund without the need for such a wait.
