Credit Refund

Hiya, I currently have £71.50 in credit as it was accidentally taken out my account via direct debit and i would like to receive a refund for this as soon as possible. Thanks!

Accidentally taken why? Did you make an unnecessary manual payment first?

Yeah, I paid my bill manually because it didn't come out of direct debit last month.

If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. The credit should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would recommend not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

If you prefer we can perhaps get you some help in getting it refunded (within the standard 3-5 working days) through the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you sometime tomorrow. 

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
