Hello. I made an order through Sky which then got cancelled by Sky themselves. The upfront payment I made has noe been refunded as credit, instead of my account. How can I get this money refunded back to my bank account now? Thank you

You could call Sky and ask about refunding to your bank but a credit refund is usually credited to your 'Live' Sky account and used for future payments so don't be surprised if Sky say no.

Would closing my account get the credits refunded?

It would do @Ewest2 but it could still take a few months to happen so again should you cancel once you have left Sky you would need to call them to speed up the return process.

How do I get to calling them? I've looked for a number but just get sent to the chat bot or here? Thank you

These are the current methods for contacting Sky, and some will be more appropriate than others for your particular situation …

🟢 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka ‘the bot’) which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.
