Couldn’t make it up!
I received an email in February to say my internet was being taken over and I was leaving sky (this was news to me) so I called and said I hadn't left and they managed to reinstate my internet. I then received another email to say the same thing again to which I phoned again and told them I hadn't left however this time they couldn't reinstate it and so I was cut off. I was given Sky signature as an apology however they are actually charging me, so I phoned and said if you are charging me I don't want it however they are saying they can't locate the call and they can't reinstate what I had originally because it no longer exists. This company is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Communication barriers, constantly having to explain myself every single time. The stress has been unreal.

Do you also have a landline with Sky or is it with someone like BT ?

I did have a landline however that's been taken over by someone else too (who knows who) 🤷♀️

You might need to check who it is with as it could well be them behind this as ISPd are converting landlines to digit prior to
the current analog switch off which is set for sometime next year.

Sky told me it was Plusnet who took over the line, I phoned plusnet who couldn't deny or confirm anything.

It could well be Plusnet if there is a pending digital phone line upgrade placed on your line so do you have an online account with them that you could check ?
