Contract without consent

I am currently facing significant challenges with Sky after being entered into a new contract without my consent after accepting two months of Sky Sports and Movies from an engineer  visit to fix a fault. Their process for escalation is continually blocked, making it difficult for customers to raise their concerns. It’s worrying how they can exploit people with verbal contracts.

For anyone in a similar situation, I recommend immediately filing a Subject Access Request to Sky. They tend to want to avoid this due to its complexity, but it’s essential to hold them accountable. I dread to think how many are victims of this underhanded practice. Then ask for deadlock letter(insist) then make an application to CISAS with your evidence. Keep a

chronology.

If you don't receive your SARS request/jnfo after 30 days report to ICOM.

It's also worth just emailing Ofcom with your concerns, they will direct you to a ADR such as CISAS but tell them you want them to log it as evidence as they monitor certain practices then when they get several they investigate, so worth an email (like trading standards).

It seems this is common practice from Sky to get people into longer contracts. Very concerning practice.
