Hi,
I went into contract with sky for TV, was told that I would be paying X amount every month until contract ends. Later, there was an issue with TV signal, it took 2 weeks to resolve. As a gesture, sky customer added netflix with some amount that I agreed. Sky customer told that would be price until contract ends. What I observed in three months, sky kept increasing price by 1-2 GBP every month by saying there was offer on your account that expired and it's happening every month. I am in situation as in i will be paying 50% more in July if I look at future bill. It's giving impression that contract was made with dishonesty to make customer agree on the price but it had hidden offer that's not disclosed. I asked sky to terminate the contract but they said I can't do until it ends.
I have been with sky for than 5 years and of course it will be last contract because the way they tricked to make contract.
Just for information, price for TV and add-on Keep going up every month and it's been good on since January, it will go until July then monthly price will be regular for me.
Has anyone experienced anything like this with sky ?
What are options considering above?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@kzky Are you absolutely sure your prices are going up every month???
Price rises occur for the follwing reasons:
Anniual Price rise in April each year.
Discounts ending
changes to packages
Outside of that prices would not be going up each month.

Find out more@kzky if you believe you have been misled, raise a complaint with Sky, preferably by letter and ask them to listen to the recordings of the calls you made where the price guarantees were made. It would doubtless be helpful to be able to give dates and approximate times.

Yes it's going up every month for TV and Netflix by 1 GBP, it will go on until July for Netflix. I have never seen your contract is discounted then once you have legal binding then price starts going up and customer service know you don't have choice now but pay

Find out moreSomething doesn't sound right here, so you started this new contract with Sky in January so while it might be that your next bill wasn't correct as that might have been created prior to you starting the contract. Your March/April bills would see an increase due to the annual price rise so this will probably be shown on the both of them but that apart I can't see why you would be seeing an increase up to July unless the discount wasn't applied correctly at the start of the year.
