Re: Compaint ref
@KevinMilne This is a public forum primarily of other Sky customers so Sky aren't going to see or respond to any complaints on here.
If you feel you were wrongly advised by the advisor then you can follow the process documented here to raise a complaint with Sky.
The process on how to claim credit as part of switching to Sky to cover early termination fees can be found here

Re: Compaint ref
@KevinMilne doesn't sound like you have a case. I've no doubt the adviser would have advised the process had you asked. And the details are online anyway. Bottom line is Sky don't have access to your Vodafone account to settle the outstanding bill anway, any more than Vodafone has any access to your Sky account.

Re: Compaint ref
I realised this after it posted. I have an open complaint and put in the link and it doesnt load up, says error. I went round the houses again which took me to here.

The agent did not advise before starting the process and it being ported across that I would have to do what I have had to do.
You can still get a claim with Sky now even if you are now up and running with them as it doiesn't have to be done when signing up:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-credit-offer
You must provide a copy of the bill from Vodafone where you have been charged an early termination fee and a copy of a statement showing that you have paid it and send these to Sky via this email address - [email protected]
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can
