Hello,
I have received emails from a collection company that I first thought was a scam as I haven’t had a broadband contract with Sky for over a year now, since I moved. I am being told I owe £81.70, and this is now showing on my bills as a rollover amount every month since I cancelled my contract. I assume it’s for the broadband box which I was told I would not have to return when I cancelled.
I’m not sure what to do about this. Thank you for any help.

Your post is a little unclear… is the amount owning just for not returning a loaned router or are Sky saying your haven't cancelled?
Did you receive email confirmation from Sky of the cancellation, which router did you have and do you still have it?

Sorry for my vagueness, I don't know what the amount is for as it isn't telling me. It's just an amount on my bills that's being carried over each month and I've received no messages or post from Sky about it so I assumed it's for the router.
I don't know what router I had or had, I cancelled when I moved and was told that I did not need to return the router so if I have it then it is likely still in storage.
It's just alarming to hear nothing from Sky for over a year and then be contacted by a debt agency saying I owe £81.70 with no indication of what it's for.

Unfortunately Sky can only listen back on calls for 6 months so they can't listen to what you were told a year ago.
