Card Payments not working

I have been trying for days not to make a payment for my bill both on the website, app and phone and the systems keeps failing the payment.  I know the card is fine as I have used it elsewhere and there is plenty of money available.  

Nobody seems to know what to do and all they keep saying is it must be either my fault or my banks.  Is anybody else having issues?

Why are you trying to make a manual payment? You should have either a direct debit or continuous card payment set up which would take to payment automatically (if sufficient funds are there).

Card expired and forgot to register the new one before the bill was due. So trying to make the payment manually as they won't take it using the new card details automatically. 

Only trying to find out of others are having issues as Sky are not being helpful at all.

Forgetting about making this payment what does your account show regarding this bill ?

I can't make a payment either abc I cannot set up a dd as it won't let me

I am having this issue too. Sky mobile won' let me add new payment details or make a payment for outstanding bill.... sky have blocked my mobile so i can't call them and the ai chat doesn't understand

What is happening when you try to change your payment details. You should need to make a manual payment though as this can lead to further issues.

Making a one off payment keeps failing as it says the bank account name isn't right - depite it beign right. I have tried 3 different bank cards, either direct debit or card payment, none work - all say for the same reason.

So your bill hasn't been paid and your mobile restricted due to this, do you or a family member have another card you could use ?

we've tried 3 cards, all mobiles blocked.

I have been trying to make a manual card payment for my sky broadband bill as I usually do but it's not working. Tried to set up a payment card and it's not working as well. Would be annoying if they have to cut of my service or charge for late payment because it's not my fault. What can be done about this?

@Alexander38 you shouldn't be making manual payments.  If you're unable to set up,a direct debit or monthly card payment online, give Sky a call

I've tried to call but I've been unable to speak to a real human being, and the bot keeps directing me back online. Very frustrating. I've tried live chat was told someone from the team would call me, until now I have t received any call.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.
