Cancelled in may still being charged now in August

Im hoping someone can help me .........I left sky in may to go to brsk and got all the normal sorry your leaving messages on the day I signed up.

Brsk was fitted on 16th may and im still being charged when I haven't got sky broadband or tv anymore. Ive contacted by phone but no one helps me.

If I speak to brsk they just final bill from sky but still sky are charing me and they had finally acknowledged that id left but this is not reflected on my account. Please can someone help or point me to someone who can as my daughter switched and had no problems but ive had nothing but issues since I did the switch and im sick of being passed back and fourth. I have now been paying for sky and brsk for months and I really cant afford it , I changed to make my bill cheaper and ive ended up paying twice.

How did you cancel your Sky TV?   (As you can only 'switch' broadband/phone services)

Yes, but did you cancel with Sky directly?

You can only cancel TV services by calling Sky. A new broadband provider can only cancel your broadband contract with your current supplier they cannot cancel any separate TV services.

Im sorry but you are wrong on this as my daughter switched broadband and tv from sky to brsk a month before I did and it was all done through brsk with the one switch service, unfortunately mine didnt go smoothly but my daughters did and it was all done in one without any phone call.

Hi @Gill1954   I'm afraid not, please see Welcome below. The escalation route is currently closed.

Yes, either give them a call or try one of the other contact options here: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Account-Billing/Want-to-private-message-Sky/ba-p/4895295

As already posted, another provider cannot cancel your tv contract.

Hi @Gill1954   It sounds like your daughter was lucky. Brsk (whoever they are) are not obliged to request Sky to cancel your TV. The only time that TV is also cancelled is only when the TV package is dependent on the same TV broadband, like VM and EE/BT TV. Sky works with all broadband providers so many people use the one touch switch to change broadband and retain Sky TV.
