Cancellation of Sky TV service

I have repeatedly tried to cancel my Sky TV service since I served noice on TV and broadband in May 2023. In the end in desperation I cancelled the Diret Debit in August. You have now started threatening legal action. I have been a loyal customer for 17 years. Please cancel the balance outstanding and withdraw your threats. Sincerely Duncan Wilson

Re: Cancellation of Sky TV service

@Duncanwilson  Your not emailing Sky by posting on the email forum, that is for Sky Yahoo email issues.

You will need to reinstate your direct debit as cancelling that this the worse possible course of action and will lead to further issues.   This does not cancel your services but puts you in breach of contract.

Once reinstated you need to contact Sky to cancel, the forum can't do that for you.

Sky won't call you on the back of a forum post, if you have come to the end of a discounted period then this is why your bills have gone up.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
