@Natsy1

It is an email form that can be found here:

Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom of the page on the above link.

Re: Cancel without calling.

Looks like they've shut that option down since you posted it. I've been with Sky a long time, but this kind of nonsense makes me less likely to return.

Nope, it's still there, and just now the chat option is available.

Re: Cancel without calling.

The email option is, conveniently, greyed out with the following text: "Sorry, after checking your account, we won't be able to manage your request via our online form."

What a surprise...

Use the chat option. Or call.

Re: Cancel without calling.

I don't even get a greyed out option, despite what is posted above. Looks like it's tailored. Chat option offers me a Virtual Assistant that informs me that this service is only for people who have some kind of accessibility issue i.e. deaf, blind, etc

Re: Cancel without calling.

I am finding it a nightmare to try cancel this useless service. Everything about Sky is rubbish - absolute garbage, speeds, cut out, and customer service.
I am just going to cancel the payment and see what happens. Anyone tried that? I can't see any other way out of this hell hole

@Uselessky I can tell you what will happen, your services will be restricted when payment is not made, a late fee will be added and if the account remains in arrears for 56 days then the debt will be sent to a collections company who may also add fees and take further action if the debt still remians unpaid.

It's certainly not the wisest way to go, but you are of course free to choose your own path.

You can't cancel here. Give Sky a call.

@Julie19601

TV or Broadband/Talk?

To cancel your TV subscription fully, if you’re out of contract you’ll need to give Sky the required 31 days notice. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. (If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term).

Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to contact details.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.

If you successfully cancel you should receive an acknowledgment email from Sky.

If you are cancelling Sky Q, return packaging will be sent out near the end of your notice period. It’s important that you obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely.

🔹

If you are cancelling Broadband/Talk altogether you need to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. Remember that if you are still in a discounted 18/24 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges.

Return packaging for any equipment Sky expect back will be sent out to you near the end of any notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.
