@Anonymous
You may not be aware but you haven’t contacted Sky by posting here. This is primarily a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to assist other customers.
This link explains the methods of making a complaint.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint
Sky will then have up to 6 weeks to resolve it or you can then request a deadlock letter potentially allowing you to take it further.

Re: CEO Escalation – Complete Breakdown in Customer Service and Formal Request to Terminate Contract
@Anonymous wrote:Dear Executive Complaints Team,I am writing as a customer of approximately 15 years who has now completely exhausted every reasonable avenue available to resolve an ongoing complaint through Sky's normal customer service and complaints processes.Unfortunately, what should have been a relatively straightforward issue has become an ongoing cycle of misinformation, broken promises, failed commitments, inaccurate communication, and an apparent inability for any individual within Sky to take ownership of a customer complaint.The purpose of this email is not simply to complain about a billing error or an unfulfilled goodwill gesture. It is to formally raise concerns regarding a sustained and systemic failure in Sky's customer service and complaint-handling processes.Over recent weeks, I have spent countless hours chasing responses, repeating the same information to multiple departments, and following instructions provided by Sky representatives, only for those actions to lead nowhere.Most recently, I was contacted by Sky and advised that I needed to call a specific number to progress my complaint. This number was subsequently sent to me via text message. Having followed Sky's instructions and called the number provided, I was then informed that I could not speak to anybody regarding my complaint.This interaction perfectly reflects my experience throughout this entire process.I have been repeatedly told that issues have been resolved when they have not.I have been promised actions that have never materialised.I have been assured that credits would be applied which have subsequently not appeared.I have received communications claiming that attempts have been made to contact me when no such contact has occurred.Every interaction appears to create another issue rather than resolve the original one.As a loyal customer of 15 years, I find this genuinely astonishing.The reality is that the original issue is now almost secondary. The greater concern is that Sky has demonstrated a complete inability to manage a formal complaint effectively or provide an acceptable level of customer service.Had Sky demonstrated even a basic level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through, I would very likely still be a customer. Instead, I have reached the point where I no longer have any confidence whatsoever in Sky's ability to deliver the standards of service expected from a company of its size, reputation, and market position.I am therefore formally requesting the following:
- Immediate termination of my contract.
- A full waiver of all early termination charges and exit fees.
- Resolution of any outstanding billing discrepancies.
- Written confirmation of account closure.
- A formal response explaining how this complaint has been allowed to deteriorate to this level despite repeated opportunities for Sky to resolve it.
Please be in no doubt that I am no longer seeking apologies, promises of callbacks, goodwill gestures, or assurances that someone will investigate the matter. I have received all of these repeatedly and none have resulted in meaningful action.What I require now is a definitive resolution.After 15 years as a customer, it is deeply disappointing that I have felt compelled to escalate matters to Executive Level simply to receive the level of service that should have been provided through normal customer support channels.I trust that, upon reviewing my account history and the numerous interactions recorded against it, you will recognise that my request to terminate my contract without penalty is both reasonable and justified.I look forward to receiving your substantive response.
A good email but you need to actually send it to Sky as said above this we just subscribers like you self on here and there little likely hood of any one from Sky actually reading it on this forum and your posting here wiil do little to get your request activated. If you want to cancel you need to contact Sky and though you ask for immediate termination under the terms of your contract its lable to a 31 day notice period , if you are just on a rolling monthly contract. However if you are still in a minimum term Sky will probably not cancel till the end of that term , but if they do will probably apply a termination fee. Though you ask in you email/ post for these to be waived as you are in contract and the t&c state that if accept a minimum term for the discounts applied to you subscription, you can not cancel normally untill the end of that minimum term and but where Sky do allow early termination a termination fee will probably be applied. The only exception to this rule is if you are SkyQ or broadband subscriber you cancel without termination fee when Sky inform you of a price increase as long it done within 30 days of receiving such a notice. Therefore as in this instance this not the case Sky will either insist on completion of you minimum term or apply a termination fee there is no get out clause in your contract just because you are unhappy with service or have cause for complaint.
