Billing Error – Incorrect Mobile Usage Charge

Dear Sky Customer Service,

I am writing to dispute a charge on my latest bill.

My bill shows £140 in Mobile Usage charges, making the total bill £158. However, I have not made any international or premium rate calls. When I check my itemised usage, my calls show £0.00, so I do not understand why I have been charged £140.

Please investigate this issue, provide a full explanation of these charges, and correct my bill if this is a billing error.

I would appreciate a prompt response, as I do not wish to pay charges that I believe are incorrect.

Kind regards,

Surinder Singh

Hi, you aren’t directly talking to Sky by posting here. If you are new to the forum then welcome to the Community which is made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers with additional help from Superusers like myself.

As customers we obviously can't see your bill.

Check the dates the bill covers; is it longer than the normal month? Compare it to a previous bill to see where if differs.

An increase normally means roaming charges, buying some extra data at £6.00 per GB, sending chargeable picture messages (which are currently 95p each), calls to non-inclusive numbers or a discount ending. Remember only 01, 02, 03 and UK 07 mobile numbers are inclusive.

In view of the big discrepancy with your bill you may need to call Sky when the lines reopen in the morning. Dial 150 free from your Sky mobile.
