Billed twice for same period

Hi,

I have notice to cancel my sky q tv package with an end date of 18th October.

my October bill covered up to 18th October.

i subsequently received a letter offering me a huge discount to stay, so i agreed to a new contract.

however they have not processed it correctly and have billed me again from 30th September 2025, result long on my November bill being double. Additionally they have not honoured the terms agreed over the phone as per the letter sent.

Is there a secret customer service department I can contact they can help with this? I have tried the advertised ones but they are useless! I now have a pending request for me to return my equipment as well as a bill that is double whaf I was paying before!

I haven't agreed to the terms as per the bill they have sent - how do they get away with this? If they take the money on the bill without my agreement it might be considered fraud as they are knowingly taking money from my account without my consent. Additionally no contract agreement exists for the amount billed either.

if anyone has any suggestions how to get through to sky I would be grateful, as I don't want to go down the route of cancelling my direct debit and getting involved in a legal battle if it can be avoided.

kind regards

Hi @ROXY12345   Do you see -xx days against any items on the bill? This means your bill covers more than one month, and Sky are adjusting amounts from previous months. This is normal after any changes and should go back to normal after a couple of payments.
