Being Double Charged
Hello, I'm here cause I'm hoping someone can help me clarify what on earth is going on here. So I was paying £159 per month for all of the TV packages as well as whole home. I thought this was becoming increasingly expensive and correctly so.. I struggled to pay in the month of September. I had my services restricted... Understandably.. From the START of September, so throughout the whole month I wasn't using any of the Sky packages at all.
In my bill it states the dates I'm being charged is 20th August - 19th September... (The one i missed) Well I paid the outstanding balance TODAY on the 22nd September. Upon paying I notice my bill is due for just my CCA agreement for sky glass of £21. So now my bill is £179.. okay.. So I've paid the £179 outstanding..
Well now I wanted to cancel my current packages of Sky Sports and TNT sports as well as UHD to reduce my bill from £159 to £83.. Much more manageable. Then I noticed there was a deal of £40 per month for both Sky Sports and TNT.. So I cancelled the sky sports and TNT Sports to get ready to instead change to the 24 month contract commitment of a much more manageable sum. However upon cancelling, it instead.. continues to charge me until the 20th October.. When.. I want it gone full stop. Ready for a contract instead. I'm now looking at my next predicted bill for October and it's thinking it can charge me £203.. DOUBLE OF EVERYTHING?!?!??!
I'll be compltely honest, I don't know how that's even fair? I'm trying to cancel the rolling day contracts on the DAY I've paid the outstanding balance BEFORE I watch anything so I can start afresh from £0 outstanding and enter a contract for a much better deal but instead I've been given a much worse hand.. What on earth can I do now?!

Re: Being Double Charged
@Zach15 it looks like your 20 September bill has been rolled into the bill for 20 October, so you're paying for two months in one, hence the October bill is approximately double the usual monthly bill
