Re: BILL
@1954eamonn
Discounts may have recently expired or be ending very soon. Sky will have told you the date the discount was ending when you took it out. You could compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.
If your discounts have ended you will need to contact Sky to try to negotiate a new deal or potentially amend your package which will require another 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount so if you’re offered something acceptable you need to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.
You can either call Sky or use the following link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave

Re: BILL
No need for capitals, it's considered to be shouting at other customers.
Did you have a price increase in April? For some customers (including myself) for some reason it's July/August time. Perhaps it's to spread out the price increases so they aren't all being applied on the same date.

Re: BILL
So have you compared your most recent bill to a previous one and seen where the difference is? Click on the blue arrow alongside any questionable amount.

Re: BILL
Did you get the same email in March time saying the annual price increase was being applied from 1 April? If you did you'll need to contact Sky to query this.

@1954eamonn
You can call Sky free by dialling 150 from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky Mobile, alternatively you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).
You will find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. If necessary say nothing when the automated system asks you what your call is about as it should then route your call into a queue for the next available agent.

Re: BILL
Check which items have increased - AIUI they can only increase an individual subscription once a year, "we may increase the then standard price of each TV subscription service only once in any 12 month period and the increase will not be more than 10% or the increase in the UK Retail Price Index over the 12 months before we tell you about that price increase, whichever is greater".
I didn't get an increase in April, but did in July...
