Address

I have been trying to get my address correctly changed as the format is wrong this has been on going since Monday and I have spoken to 5 different agents, the last one has said it will take up to 7 days, my patience is coming to a end.

Re: Address

Monday morning at 9am, trying to get a mobile, apparently my address layout doesn't match credit check due to sky having character limit for address lines, last agent at 4.30pm today said I will have to wait 7 days for tech department to fix, this is a poor service by sky.

@raymond18  But what does Royal Mail show it as? https://www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode

Sky will use a PAF valid format, if other organisations etc have abbreviated it then the issue isn't wth Sky, it does need to match what is listed as a PAF Valid address.

@raymond18  Does what Sky hold match exactly what Royal Mail Hold?

Royal Mail typically format as

House Name (if applicable)

House Number (If applicable) Street Name

Area/District/Village

Post Town

Post Code

@raymond18  If they cant find it on postcode it may be held under a different post code or plot address.

Out of interest how old is the prooperty, is it a new build in the last few years?

Re: Address

I live on a park home site therefore the address is the site name in first line followed road address, sky have put road address first followed by my address which is the wrong way to royal mail trying 5get them to understand that is like getting blood from a stone.

@raymond18  I recommend then going down this route so that you can fully explain in a message the issue that exists, use the Mail Us option so that you can fully explain the address formating issue

@raymond18

No need for a new thread so this evenings post has been merged into yesterdays to provide the full story.

Did you make a complaint (after which Sky have up to 6 weeks to resolve it).
