Account restricted

Since November I have had account restricted on my account when trying to take out a new sim plan, my tv shows an outstanding payment for lionsgate+ of £6.99 from October 2023. I closed that bank account and forgot to change the payment option and emails must have went into junk folder. I called the number it gave to make payment multiple times since and sky state there are no restrictions or outstanding payments on my account and said they can't take payment for the lionsgate as nothing is appearing on their end. So I am stuck with restrictions on my end that apparently don't show and can't be resolved on their end

I'm not clear how the Community can help, particularly as you've already been in touch with Sky. You could try a formal complaint,ideally in writing, or perhaps go elsewhere for your new SIM plan.
