AContract cancelled - payments are still bring requested

Moved to Virgin who dealt with cancellation of contract and equipment has been returned. Sky are still requesting payment but my Sky account is showing nil balance.  How do I sort it?  Virtual Assistant cannot assist 🤷‍♀️

What Sky services did you have?  Virgin cannot cancel TV contracts - if you had Sky TV then you still have Sky TV...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Sky TV was cancelled by Virgin and a request to return equipment was carried out and avknowledged hence no outstanding acvount balance yet payments being requested 🤷‍♀️

Sky TV was cancelled by Virgin and a request to return equipment was carried out by me and avknowledged bynSky, hence no outstanding account balance yet payments being requested 🤷‍♀️

Did you have broadband from Sky because it is only broadband that Virgin can cancel as no matter what they might have told you they can not and do not cancel TV services from other providers which is why you will need to get in touch with Sky.

 @Caz1982 just for clarity,, regardless of whatever Virgin may have told you, they cannot cancel your Sky tv contract. 

 

Returning your Sky tv equipment does not constitute cancellation.

 

You need to contact Sky to give 31 days notice to cancel.
