1G SIM-only bill £11, not £1

Help! Not sure what's happened here. Ordered 26 Aug 2026, bill notification 29 Aug

 

From contract 26 Aug:

Your new monthly subscription
• 1GB £8.00 per month
• 1GB 12 months discount -£7.00
• 1GB net price £1.00 per month
You've agreed to a minimum term of 12 months.
Enjoy Unlimited Calls and Texts with 5G included in your plan at no extra cost

 

From bill 29 Aug

My Mix - 31 days £11.00

Unlimited Calls and Texts £10.00
1GB £8.00 £1.00
(struck out) £8.00 discounted to £1.00
Data Plan Discounted:-£7.00
•  Offer end date: 28th August 2027
 

Total bill statement £11.00
 
 
 
And future monthly bills are all £11.

Had a Sky chat that same evening; a solution was proposed but couldn't be implemented until my number port on 1st Sep had completed.

 

The port went smoothly. One day later my account is showing correct future bills plus the required credit.

 

I'm very impressed with Sky customer service.

Mine is showing the exact same thing on my bill is it an error on their side or was it them misselling on their website
