@Tegan+Tianna  This sounds like you're being asked to tune channels in either freesat or Freeview rather than your TV selecting the relevent HDMI input.

 

If you have Sky +/Q or Stream you don't need to be tuning anything in as the devices are already setup with the channels.

 

You'll need to read your TV setup guide to select the correct input for your TV boxes.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
