Sky Cimema/Paramount Plus Con!!!

So it's safe to say that Sky's "Get Sky Cinema and you get Paramount+ at no extra cost" advertising campaign is a complete con. Simply put, NO YOU DONT!!!!

What you WILL get is lead down a rabbit hole that will always lead you back to where you started, so that you'll eventually give up and not bother!

 

Sky, Believe In Better.................trust me, your customers constantly wish you were!!!!!

How exactly is it a con ? -  it's only available on Sky Q and Glass and was advertised as such.  Setup fine for me

Fantastic, I'm really glad yours all works. Mine doesn't.

Go to Paramount+ app on SkyQ box, check.

Click "Get Paramount+", check

Click "Confirm", check.

Scan QR code, check.

Receive "Looks Like You're Trying To Access This Page Too Early" screen, check.

Repeat first 3 steps but use "Sky.com/paramountplus-activate, check.

Receive same "Access Too Early" screen, check.

 

Repeat process 4 times a day for a full week, then phone Sky to be told it's a known fault and Sky are on with it, then come on here to find it's been a known fault for well over 6 months!

 

Perhaps my use of the word "con" was a tad extreme, with the fact it actually worked perfectly fine on my old Sky+ box, but then again you didn't have to sync this with that and the other to access it on that.

It's probably why you got the response that you did, to be honest!

 

Try visiting the activation website using your browser's incognito/privacy mode, in case the issue is with your browser cache.

Just tried it, still get same "Access Too Quickly" screen.
