Hello,
About 18 months ago, my parents switched service providers and decided not to port their land line - we've had that phone number for about 40 years. I moved into a new house recently and would like to recover that number for my own use. Is this possible?
Any info, shared experiences or advice is much appreciated!

I tried calling the number but the message says that "the number you have called is not recognised..." so fingers crossed it's still available.

Numbers can only be recovered by a different provider to the one who ceased the number within 30 days of the number being ceased
