I have just switched over to sky broadband with internet calls, previously with BT. The broadband switch connected straight away but have not had phone line since connection on Monday. Phone is plugged into router, checked with plugging directly into wall socket, checked with and without filters. Have tried to call Sky on my mobile, could hear the operator but they could not hear me. Virtual chat not helped.

@Highlinder, landline dead, no dial tone, just empty air. I called Sky on my mobile, I could hear the operator but they could not hear me.

Yes, have done all the switching off and on of all devices, resets etc

Mine has been like this for 5 days so far - no dial tone - apparently its a nationwide fault (no evidence found by other providers though) . Sky have until tomorrow for the line to come back on otherwise its sayonara. its been a catalogue of disasters right from the word go with their fibre broadband. Poor overpriced service so far.
