My phone line is dead, display says check phone line

I moved home several months ago and an engineer came to set up my phone line etc, since I've moved in the phone doesn't work, I've tried several different handsets but the display keeps saying check phone line

@TES86   Does your router have a voice light?  Is it lit?  Is you phone plugged into the router or master socket?

Yes my router has a voice light which is currently green, it looks like the phone is connected to the router
