I only have a normal phone? I am puzzled not tech minded at 78 years old. I have an oldfashioned phone that you plug into the wall how do I plug it into the internet please?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@DALunan It may well be if your using the very old dial/pulse phones then it isn't going to work on the the VOIP type services that expects touch tones when dialling anyone.
Sky don't use email i'm afraid. This sounds more like a phone compatibility issue rather than a fault.
You need a modern type phone that has push buttons and tones when you dial.

I have used my phone with Sky for many years. I have a Sky Talk package.

I have a separate phone - the old type - so that when the internet goes down I still have a phone for my intereviews with the BBC. I do my astronomy / space interviews by phone because Skype/Zoom is not always successful as I live under a railway station.

I plug my phone into the wall not into the internet hub. They are separate. I do not have VOIP - not subscribed to it.
