Cannot receive calls. I can make calls. WHY Sky closed case?

Hello can anyone please help.

I can make calls using my Sky landline. It is not one of the landlines plugged into the router. It's a conventional (old fashioned?) landline.

My internet works fine. Again old fashioned fibre to cabinet then copper to house.

BUT I cannot receive calls. If I use my mobile to call my home Sky landline the mobile makes the usual sound of it ringing out. But inside the house the Sky landline doesn't ring.

ALSO: I spent ages filling in the Sky online form. They've just texted me to say they have closed my online form as you already have an open case with us?????

Thanks for any help

@greenbike

For clarification I would suggest calling Sky. Just dial 150 free from your landline.

Perhaps your previous case is still open, for some reason?

I reported it online and I called them. But.... Nothing has happened. I still cannot receive land line calls on Sky talk.

Also nothing in my online messages or faults. Their isn't a record of me having called and filled in the online form.
