Broken Ringtone

My ringtone is always broken the same if I have a voicemail or not, any ideas on how to solve this?

@jesslola  Normally the way to tell if you have a voice mail is when you pick the phone and listen, the dial tone is different. Your phone will ring normally even if there is a voice message waiting.
