my hard drive seems to have crashed after a signal blackout during a heavy storm

i lost my Sky signal the other night during a very heavy rain storm , it was annoying but it had happened before , but once it came back it didnt seem to work right , and it told me to go through the resetting procedure as there was a problem in my hard drive , so i followed the instructions and after it was all done it told me that there was still a problem with my hard drive and that all my recorded programs and bought films had been lost , and other functions of the box were not now available , and it was telling me to upgrade to Sky Q , but i cant seem to be able to find a human to tell me what the difference in price or what differences i will be getting if i do

Best to call if you would like advice on switching to Sky Q. What problem are you having with speaking to an zdviser?

An alternative might be to by a used box from the likes of ebay, if you prefer to keep Sky+. There's no shortage of boxes available cheaply. Just choose either a DRX890 or DRX895 model, as they're the most recent.
