Since Saturday (2nd) I have been unable to record any channels on my box or watch items in the planner. I have phoned up about it but all the helpdesk could suggest was upgrade to sky q. I am not interested in sky q for many reasons and will opt for freesat first. From what I have read sky should be able to fix this issue from their end quite easily so that I can record and watch from the planner again. I am willing to stay with sky for as long as my old box functions but not if I need to have sky q or glass and an engineer visit etc. Thank for any help!

Hello Mark, when I try to record I get an error message saying Unable to Record, please call (number) to upgrade your sky+ subscription. I tried to call the number but it is out of use, so had to call the general number. I get an error message also when I try to watch from the planner, but can't quite remember the wording.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreOk, I've advised Sky. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates.
