Skybox stuck

For several hours trying to reboot Sky box but stuck on red light with flashing blue. Keep trying to reboot. One go thought I was successful only to get message no satellite signal.

Have you checked that none of the buttons on the top of the Sky box are stuck down

Doesn't sound like a Sky+ box (where you've posted)?
